SEC EMEA

MEP fit-out · installation · commissioning

The crew that installs it
is the crew that proves it.

SEC EMEA mobilises directly-employed mechanical and electrical installation crews into live data centre programmes — white space fit-out, plant room install, commissioning and witnessed testing — across 32+ countries.

LIVE

Where our crews carry the programme.

We work the full lifecycle. Three stages are where the crews live, and where a programme is usually won or lost.

01

Design & build

Load-led MEP for new-build and retrofit.

02

Project management

Certified PMs across trades and borders.

03

Fit-out & install

Pipework, containment, busbar, racks and containment put in by our own fitters and installers.

Core

04

Commissioning

Pre-functional through integrated systems test, run by our own Cx engineers.

Core

05

Testing & certification

Dead and live testing, load bank proving, certificates and the evidence pack behind them.

Core

06

Maintain

Post-handover mechanical & electrical support.

Installation teams

Directly employed crews. Ticketed before they mobilise.

There is no brokered labour chain between you and the pipework. The supervisors, fitters, installers and commissioning engineers on your hall are SEC EMEA people, mobilised as a unit and accountable through to witnessed handover.

Mechanical

Fitters & pipefitters

CHW and CW mains, risers and in-hall distribution, pump and valve sets, plant room pipework, supports and anti-vibration.

Electrical

Installers & electricians

Containment routes, cable pulling, glanding and termination, busbar and tap-offs, distribution, small power and lighting.

Airside

Ductwork & containment

AHU and CRAH connections, ductwork and attenuation, hot and cold aisle containment, floor grilles and blanking.

Commissioning

Cx engineers

Mechanical and electrical. Systems driven through every mode, setpoint, alarm and failure case, then integrated as one hall.

Verification

Test & inspection

Dead and live electrical testing, pressure and flow verification, thermal surveys, and the certification pack that follows.

Supervision

Working foremen

A supervisor on the tools with every crew, holding install sequence, quality and safety at the workface rather than from an office.

How a crew lands on your site.

  1. Pre-mobilisation pack issuedRAMS, lift plans, permit requirements and site-specific inductions go out before anyone travels.
  2. Competency verified against scopeCards and tickets are checked for the work actually being done. Nobody mobilises on an expired card.
  3. Plant, tools and calibration stagedAccess equipment and test instruments arrive with the crew, with in-date calibration certificates attached.
  4. Sequence agreed with the programmeCrew loading is set against the main contractor’s programme and the hall’s access and isolation windows.
  5. Evidence captured every shiftProgress, blockers and QA records report back daily, so the commissioning pack builds as the install proceeds.

Fit-out & installation

What our crews put into the hall.

Select a discipline. Every line is work our own installation teams carry out and hand over with evidence.

Commissioning & testing

Proving it works is a discipline, not a signature.

Our commissioning engineers work the standard five-level ladder. The evidence pack is assembled as the work happens, so the client witness day is a formality rather than a scramble.

L1

Factory acceptance

Witnessed FAT at the manufacturer. Plant is proven against specification before it ships, not after it has been craned into position.

L2

Delivery & static checks

Arrival inspection, damage and specification compliance, correct set-down, storage and protection conditions recorded against each asset.

L3

Pre-functional & point-to-point

Installation checks, dead electrical testing, insulation resistance and continuity, pipework flushed, chemically cleaned and pressure tested, and every field point proved back to its controller.

L4

Functional performance

Each system driven in isolation through every operating mode, setpoint, alarm, interlock and failure case, with results recorded against design intent.

L5

Integrated systems test

The hall as one machine. Load banks to design load, utility failure, generator start and load transfer, N+1 and 2N failover, thermal ride-through and black building test.

Certification issued

  • Electrical installation certificates and schedules of test results
  • Pressure test, flushing and water quality sampling records
  • Airflow, containment and thermal verification results
  • Load bank and failover records proven against design load
  • Thermal imaging surveys of terminations and busbar joints
  • Calibration certificates for every instrument used

Handover pack

  • Witness sheets signed off level by level
  • Marked-up as-built drawings and schematics
  • O&M manuals and manufacturer documentation
  • Asset register that matches the tagging on the floor
  • Operator and maintenance team training records
  • Snag and de-snag close-out, evidenced rather than asserted

Audit layer

Built to the frameworks the hall will be tested against.

Install and commissioning work is set out to the standards your own auditors, insurers and Cx authority will measure it by.

BS 7671

Electrical installation, inspection and certification.

BSRIA BG

Commissioning guides for water and air systems.

TIA-942

Tiering and infrastructure reliability.

Uptime Institute

Tier certification and constructed facility testing.

CDM 2015

Construction phase duties and site safety.

IPAF / MEWP

Licensed platform operators before mobilise.

ISO 27001

Information security alignment on site.

BREEAM

Sustainability for build and fit-out.

Track record

UK, Nordics and Mainland Europe led. 32+ countries delivered.

Hyperscale and enterprise programmes. In-house mobilised crews — not a brochure network.

Project channel

Tell us the hall. We’ll return a crew plan.

Scope, programme dates and crew requirement get you a named supervisor and an install sequence, not a brochure.
